Hi! I'm Darryl (he/they) and I typically go by Bogg or BoggTech online. I'm a Computer Science student currently in my fourth year of study at Trinity College Dublin. I've had a strong interest in computers & programming for as long as I can remember and I also like to tinker with 3D printing and other hardware in my free time.
I made this website to serve as a half-portfolio, half-personal website for me (as such - if you're looking for something more professional, check out my LinkedIn instead). It's programmed in pure vanilla CSS and Javascript, and is hosted on GitHub Pages. I bought the domain for TEN YEARS in a sale, so feel free to email me in 2034 when I forget to renew it.
I have experience in Python, Java, Javascript, C, HTML, CSS, MySQL, among other things.
I grew up playing Disney's Toontown Online, and later the fan revival Toontown Rewritten, and it's a big reason why I got into computers at all. The game and its community are near to my heart, and you'll probably see it pop up a lot here!

Here's a quick overview of a selection of projects I've worked on over the years. This list is not exhaustive. A number of links may be unavailable, but I'm working to get those repositories public.
An example program for encrypting files with symmetric and asymmetric encryption methods. Developed solo as part of CSU33032's "Securing the Cloud" assignment. Files are stored in a shared box account, but users of the software can upload and read encrypted files.
A simple journey planner app developed with Python & Expo. Created in a group as part of CSU33013. The role of third years in the team was more "managerial" as part of the module, so I did not touch as much of the code as second year members of the team.
Simple review platform for video games, powered by the IGDB API. Developed in a group as part of CSU33012.
An application made in Processing for processing flight data from a CSV. Developed in a group as part of CSU11013.
A small tool I developed to take transparent screenshots and view the animations of Toontown Rewritten characters. Developed in Python with Panda3D.
A Twitter bot that generates random Toontown Rewritten Toons, renders them, and posts them to Twitter. Developed in Python with Panda3D.
